1014, The Urban Activist and Aral Sea Sounds Announce Podcast Episode Partnership

As part of the ongoing partnership with The Urban Activist, 1014 will present the first episode of the Urban Activist podcast which features multiple activists from New York City. The episode will launch on Wednesday, February 22nd, 2023 and be available on all major podcast platforms.

This New York City episode is part of the series of The Urban Activist at “5am Upper Street”,  where they dive into the world of cities and unveil the desires and actions of ordinary people who have the courage to try something unconventional in their cities.

This first episode, narrated by Pauline Blanchet, explores how New Yorkers are holding the city together and creating common ground despite inequalities and divisions. Guests include Claire Feuer, founder of Subway Social Club, Mitchell Borden and Rie Yamaguchi-Borden, founders of Ornithology Jazz Club in Bushwick and Brad Taylor, member of the Board of Friends of Morningside Park in Manhattan.
