Taking Stock: The Sustainable Development Goals in the 75th year of the UN

In 2020, the United Nations celebrate their 75th anniversary. On that occasion, 1014 takes a look at their signature objectives - the seventeen Sustainable Development Goals designed to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. They address the global challenges we face, including those related to poverty, inequality, climate change, peace and justice.

We spoke to NGO's and local organizations based in the United States and in Europe about the status quo of their operations, current challenges and future opportunities. The results span a vivid portrait of solution-driven initiatives on both sides of the Atlantic that strive to turn these objectives into reality.
